The 1st TPPM Welding Competition 2021 sukses dilaksanakan pada 12 Agustus 2021. Acara ini diikuti oleh 25 peserta yang kesemuanya adalah mahasiswa Teknik Mesin. Ketua Panitia, Bapak Muh. Ilham Said menyampaikan bahwa TPPM Welding Competition ini akan dijadikan agenda tahunan di Jurusan Teknik Mesin Polinef. Ketua Jurusan Teknik Mesin, Ibu Jariyanti, bersama tim Dosen Teknik Mesin turut hadir secara langsung dalam kompetisi yang dibuka oleh Wakil Direktur II, Bapak Mustari. Pemenang dari TPPM Welding Competition 2021 ini adalah Ahmad Hulis Hulis. Disusul di tempat ke dua oleh Irfan Hulis Hulis.
